SEBRAE and the States of Piauí and Ceará create The Highlands Tourist Itinerary

SEBRAE´s unities from the States of Piauí and Ceará, in partnership with the participating States are already working on the creation of a different Tourist Itinerary: Ibiapaba Hills and Seven Cities. The itinerary will enclose the municipalities of Tianguá, Ubajara and Viçosa do Ceará, in the State of Ceará and Pedro II, Piripiri and Piracuruca in the State of Piauí. All municipalities have in common a mild climate typical from the highlands, waterfalls, beautiful landscapes, richness in flora and fauna, unique rock formations and high quality handcraft works, as well as a very tasty gastronomy. This itinerary focus in complementing the Rota das Emoções, mainly based on dunes, lagoons and sun & fun motivations. The first meetings aimed the conscientization of the participating municipalities took place from 26 to 28 March and on April 25th, Karin Goidanich, SEBRAE’s consultant met already with Seven Cities National Park entrepreneurs in order to identify their expectations, needs and potentialities of the itinerary.
